Colleen B. Newcomer is the owner and President of CBN, a commercial real estate corporation that specializes in representing tenants in acquiring Class “A” office building leases and investment properties. She has over 30 years of experience from 3 top financial markets. A native of Key Biscayne, Ms. Newcomer returned to Miami in 1994 with over 14 years of commercial real estate experience in California.

Ms. Newcomer holds active real estate licenses in states of Florida and California. She continues to exclusively represent regional and global financial institutions, international law firms and local firms in commercial real estate transactions for acquisitions and/or dispositions in retail, office and/or industrial/flex requirements.

Prior to forming her own corporation in 1997, Ms. Newcomer was the Senior Commercial Associate with The Galbreath Company (now JLL), an international commercial real estate brokerage company.  She was responsible for developing the Miami office market. Ms. Newcomer was a top-producing broker for seven years with Security Pacific Frost Trinen in Southern California, before returning to Miami.

In the early years of her career, prior to starting a family in Southern California, Ms. Newcomer was associated with The Shorenstein Company and was responsible for office lease transactions as a Tenant Representative in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. Ms. Newcomer began her commercial real estate career in 1979 with Coldwell Banker (now CBRE) in Northern California, where she specialized in Class "A" office building leasing, representing landlords and tenants.

Upon graduating from college, Ms. Newcomer was hired as the national sales manager for Westin Hotels International. Responsible for acquiring national corporate and association convention business in NYC and San Francisco. Ms. Newcomer achieved the top producer award for three consecutive years.

Ms. Newcomer earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Florida State University and was named Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. Her son graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and her daughter attends USC. She was President of the Miami Theta Alumnae Chapter, and is an active member in the Young Patronesses of the Opera (YPO), an organization that brings the arts to thousands of public school children in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. In 1982 she finished the Leatherneck Marathon in 3:34, and in 2004, the NYC-ING Marathon in 4:17. The Florida Bar appointed Ms. Newcomer to serve as the non-lawyer member of the Florida Bar's Grievance Committee, which acts as Florida's Grand Jury for investigations and decisions for legal cases that come before this body.
